Our hearts are filled with sadness upon hearing today of John's passing. But they are also filled with love and smiles from having known John. We don't have anywhere near the number of cookbooks that John had, but we do have one very special one. It is a black three ring binder filled with recipes that John gave us. We call it our Church cookbook. We will raise a glass of wine to you tonight our friend.

What can I say? As I look at John's (Jonnie's) photo, my eyes are filled with tears and I am flooded with memories like no others. He was to me the quiet strength over all the girls :-) I could be wrong though, for what did I know as a little girl looking for love and meaning to life.
Bebe, Erna and the family were a connection to expanding my thinking, with protection and fun that was good for me at that time of my life.
I know that we cannot keep in contact with everyone who touched our lives but this is a blessing to share with you all what you all meant to me at a very fragile time in my life.
I am hoping to be able to see you at the memorial but if not I would love to hear from Bebe.
