Elizabeth was our classmate from kindergarten through high school at NDV. There was a group of us who were together for 12 years and were friends all that time, sharing happily all those years of growing up. I hadn't seen her for many years, but Sr. Loraine, also a classmate, visited her from time to time, until last year. She kept me informed about her. My heart is glad that she is at rest. And for her children also I wish peace of heart and rest. Sr. Lorraine is not well. I will let her know that Elicaberh is with God.

To my DeLong cousins, and families: Though much time has passed, my memories of your mom, my Godmother, are still fresh. I know the last years have been tough, but I will always remember all the good times we shared. I wish I could be there to give you hugs. Know that I share your loss. Mark Z

Dear De Long Family,
I read of your mother's passing in today's Press Democrat.
It's been decades since we all attended St. Francis school, but I remember your mom with great fondness. She was truly a kind, gentle, and wise person and such a loving mother.
One of my favorite students during my many years teaching at St. Francis was Ed DeLong. It's been so long ago that I can't recall if I was your 2nd grade teacher or your 4th - it could've been both. I believe that Chris Lose was your best friend.
I now live in Lake County and have finally retired but my son, Kevin Evoy, and his wife, Cynthia, and daughter, Lexi, still live in Sonoma.
My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
