Marlene, Jim, and Cathy:
I don't know if you remember me. You knew me as Eric Brown in the 70s when I lived on Yuba Street in Richmond across the street from David Gallardo, who informed me of Theresa's passing about an hour ago. I am so shocked and sorry to hear about this. I hope and pray that she lived a happy life. Moreover, I hope and pray that God will comfort all of you and her children during this time.
I always like Theresa. I remember that she seemed to smile through most everything. I have a feeling that, despite the circumstances, she's still smiling now.
I regret to inform you that I, too, have had recent loss of a loved one. My sister, Kimberly, died in November 2013. She, too, was just 49. I miss her daily. Yet, I have finally come to grips with it. You will, too, one day.
When you get a chance, please drop a line and let me know how you're doing. Also, please let me know if there's anything I can do.

I'm someone from her old neighborhood when Theresa was around nine years old. Word of Theresa's passing reached me just today. Everyone knew the Masts when they lived on Marin Ave. in Richmond around 1973. Marin Avenue was special because it is a short hilly street with little traffic and all us kids in the surrounding neighborhood would congregate there to play everyday. Theresa was always up for a water fight, hide & seek, kickball, racing little red wagons and bikes down the hill and just about anything that would today mandate the use of a helmet. Theresa will remain a bright light and warm memory to the children of 1970's Marin Ave.

Aunt Theresa,
It's been years since I last saw you and I know we spent most of our time apart from each other but the things I remember most about you were a smile that never wavered and eyes full of compassion and love for your family, both close and extended. You treated us all as if we were your immediate family and that's the kind of thing I remember because many people aren't like that. I leave my condolences to Bobby, Hannah and Anthony because they lost an angel of a mother, but you're never truly lost because you will always live on in our hearts and minds as a woman of grace. I never had enough time to really get to know you but I'm glad that all of my memories of you are happy ones and I'm glad you're a part of my life. So many people love you and remember you and I wish I could be there to send you off to the next life but even thought I'm a million miles away, you're in my heart and the hearts of my closest friends now. A condolence on an internet page is never enough to send you off, but I want to say adios y vaya con díos, 사랑합니다, and goodbye, until we meet again ♥

We are so sad to hear this devastating news. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of this lovely woman. "Miss Theresa" was a big part of our lives when our daughter was in preschool at Kiddie Korner in Napa many years ago. Theresa's ready smile, sense of humor, and patience with the children were what made her special. We periodically ran into her over the years when she visited Napa and she had not changed at all. We are so happy that our lives were blessed with knowing her.

My heart is broken that I lost not only a best friend and sister (actually ex sister-in-law but always a sister to me). I will miss her deeply and never forget her happy go lucky life that she lead. We are so sorry for your loss. Theresa was a friend of our daughter & son-in-law, Kelli & Craig Franke and we met her while they were all stationed at Hurlburt in Florida.
