I live, now, live in Reno, NV but I worked with Mickey at DMC for close to 20 years in the ICU/CCU. I just heard of her passing. She was the most compassionate and loving person that I have even known. She watched over her nurses like her own children and we lovingly, sometimes, called her mom. I remember the Christmas parties that she and John hosted. I have thought of her often, as well as all my sister nurses, as we have all gone our separate ways. I will ALWAYS have special memories of "mom", Mickey. My deepest condolences. I know she has a loving family as she spoke of you frequently. May she rest in peace. 💔

Although I did not know you as well as others your loss is felt in our family. You lived a long and prosperous life. RIP.

No matter how old we are, losing a mother
is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know,
but her goodness, her caring and her wisdom
live on... like a legacy of love
that will always be with you.

I believe as all who knew my Auntie Mickey that she will remain deep in our hearts until we meet again. That said, I also believe that Gary said it best with his words about cousins and the family. Thank you Auntie Mickey for making me LOVE you!

to my cousins; as far apart as we are, we will be connected by the love your mom taught us to share. we were blessed and lucky to have had her to show us how good life is. the caring, the giving, the dedication, the cooking thanksgiving meals and the forgiveness and herself, oh golly so much to miss...as far apart as we are we will always be connected.
Aunty Mickey..........Thank YOU.........
