I had the privilege of working with Marie at the polling precinct at the First Baptist Church during several elections. I enjoyed her humor and her stories. She was a pleasure to be with. And she was very meticulous in her responsibilities and made our work easier. I am glad that I was able to know her even though it was only for one long day on an annual basis over several years.

Ray and Don,
I am writing on behalf of my father, Jim Williams, and our family. My father coached at Napa High with your father and your mother and my mother were in faculty wives and played bridge together. My mother (who passed away several years ago) considered your mother a great friend. I remember your mother at my mother's memorial service. She was using a walker, but that didn't slow her down one bit! She was zipping around with more energy than most people there. Please accept our condolences. So sorry to read of Marie's passing. She was always a joy to be around. I remember many Christmas Parties at my parents house...her booming voice trying to get Gino Massoni to hear her and Auntie Ruth just smiling in the corner. We always enjoyed getting letters from "that lady with the wonderful handwriting." Many wonderful memories of Pete and Marie.
