Mike was just a top drawer guy.
He was my chief investigator when I was a Deputy D.A under Jerome Mautner doing environmental crime. Mike loved people and loved an honest joke. He was just a good human being and great to work with.

We are sorry to hear of Mr. Chouinard passing. He helped us reunite with our granddaughter when she went missing from us in 1997. We will always be grateful for his help and kindness during that difficult time. Thank God for wonderful people like him.

Mike was an outstanding investigator for the Napa County District Attorney's office. I observed his work from the defense side, The published obituary shared much information about his earlier life of which I was unaware.
In addition, he was just a very nice guy with a difficult job. I send condolences to his family in this difficult time.

I was the beneficiary of Mikes extreme professional kindness at a difficult time in my life. He was an amazing child advocate and I will be always grateful for what he did for me and my son. He will be dearly missed.

Dear Tootsie, Mike, Francine, and Cheri,
It is hard to believe that Mike is no longer on this earth, but we accept there is a bigger Divine plan. We send you our love as Max is not well enough to make the trip to Napa. We really regret not being there with you to mourn and celebrate a man we love so much. Peace and love be with you all.
