KRISTOPHER L. ROBERTS

1979-2015

Kristopher Lynn Roberts was born on October 2 1979 at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa California to Jeffrey and Pamela Roberts. Kris passed unexpectedly at his home in Napa on Thursday July 23, 2015.

Kris was born and raised in Napa and spent his entire life living here. He graduated from Napa high with the class of 1997. After graduation he had worked for both the Vintage Estates in Yountville and the Embassy Suites in Napa. His permanent career began in his teens with a local appliance store, Harbison Appliance. Through hard work and dedication he worked his way up from servicing appliances to sales and eventually to sole ownership.

After high school he met and eventually married Misty Sarkissian until divorce in 2013. Together they raised her only son, Nick Hall and Misty’s sister, Chella Ostrander. He was known by all those who knew him as a polite, kind and gentle person; a sacrificial, loving father, son, and friend. He was known as a person of high integrity and of great character. These were reflected throughout his right choices in life.

His favorite activities as a child were baseball, bowling, basketball and in high school, soccer. As an adult his interests changed to that of cooking, golfing, fishing, running, hiking and playing poker. Of these he will be remembered most by friends and family for his true passions cooking and golfing.

He is survived by his father and step mother, Jeff and Lynna Roberts, his mother Pamela Berge, uncles and aunts; Craige and Phyllis Roberts, Keith and Annie Roberts, Susan and Greg Robbins, Charlene and Don Gates, Aja Hall and Bernd Schwartzer, Ron and Donna Hall, Kathy Richards, Mike Mattox and Trudy Abernathy; and immediate cousins, Catherine Roberts, Quinn Roberts, Nathan Roberts and Jennifer Young and grandfather Donald Berge. He was predeceased by his grandmother, Ruth Roberts.

Kris was deeply loved and will truly be missed by all who knew him.

His Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at 2:00 pm at First Christian Church,  2659 First St. in Napa California 94558. A reception directly following the service will be held at the church.
