Jeanette Von Khaelssberg

Jeanette Von Khaelssberg passed away peacefully on December 1, 2016. She was born on March 5th, 1936 to Victor and Elma Filbert in Brownell, Kansas. Jeanette graduated from Ness Public High; she earned her bachelor's at the University of Denver and her Masters at the University of Maryland. She traveled the world and eventually settled in San Francisco. Jeanette worked for the Veterans Administration at Ft. Miley as an audiologist. After working at Ft. Miley, she opened Avenue Hearing Aid Center in San Francisco. Upon retiring Jeanette moved to Napa Valley, CA. She was an avid tennis player and golfer. She supported the local arts including the Lincoln Theater, Napa Valley Opera House, the symphony and other local arts. Jeanette is survived by niece Annette Briscoe and nephew Doug Briscoe both of whom are from Sparks, NV. She is preceded in death by her father Victor, mother Elma and sister Shirley Briscoe. She leaves behind lifelong friends that she deeply appreciated and cherished greatly. A celebration of life for Jeanette will be held the first part of 2017 for friends and family.
