GREGORY WEDNER

1950-2015

Gregory Alan Wedner passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 30th surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the loving husband of 43 years to Maryanne Wedner, father to Jimmy and Katie, brother of Laurie Dominguez (David), son of Jacob (deceased) and Lois Wedner, uncle to Michael (Karina) and Kacey Dominguez. Greg was born on September 25th, 1950.

He attended Taft High School, UCLA and Southwestern School of Law. For the past 14 years he has worked for Lozano Smith Law Firm and for the past 8 years acted as managing partner.  Greg adored his family, cherished his friends, and loved practicing law for the past 40 years. His passions included spending time with his family, riding his motorcycles, playing his collection of guitars, listening to classic rock, and helping others especially mentoring colleagues throughout his many years of practicing law. He was known for his witty puns and keen sense of humor.  Greg was a huge supporter of his friends in the Napa Valley Vintners and was happy to assist on the many trips his wife had the opportunity to be a part of. Special thanks to the Napa Valley Oncology Center and Napa Valley Hospice for their love and kindness.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 2nd at Tulocay Mortuary located at 411 Coombsville Road in Napa at 2pm.
