Kay, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Dennis was a very smart and talented man and his participation on the Technical Advisory Panel for the Napa Flood Project was greatly appreciated. His dedication to the Project was evident. He will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Kay Scherzinger & Family, I've read some wonderful things about a wonderful man who no doubt set a good example of dedication with everything he committed to, especially his marriage! God's place for your dear husband is Not with him, but where he was the happiest with you. Being that he is the God of all Comfort
(2 Cor1: 3-4) he cares for us deeply. Jesus gave us a demonstration how his Father feels when we loose a loved one.
(John 11: 43-45) His feelings have not changed and the time will come when 'all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out' (John 5: 28-29) Yes, Mrs. Scherzinger, God has promised we will be reunited with our dead loved ones again! My condolences and prayers will be for you to endure your loss and God bless you and yours with a waiting attitude until that special day is here!

Dear Kay and family, I send my condolences. I first met Dennis in the summer of 1953 during Plebe Summer. He and I were in the same "Cutter Crew", a group of 20 or so Plebes who entered USNA in July. He was the first Californian I had ever met. I remember sailing with him in knockabouts. I recall that he met my parents when they visited for Parents' weekend and how much they liked him. Dennis and I lost contact after he left Annapolis. Please take comfort in knowing that he is in a better place. Sincerely, Jim

Kay, I am saddened to hear of the passing of Dennis. I really enjoyed working with him at the Napa Sanitation District. He was a great Boss and a true gentleman.

Dear Kay and family,
Dennie was a dear friend from as far back as the seventh grade. It was always good to see the two of you at the reunions, Alumni Day and the picnics. I knew he wasn't well the last few years but it made all of us appreciate the fact that he still tried to be a part of the group. On behalf of many in the Class of '53 I want you to know how much we cared and will miss Dennie in so many ways. Our love to you at this very sad time in your lives.
