So saddened to hear of Dave's passing. Talking to Dave even a few months ago he was ever upbeat, turning the conversation more to other's and prompting answers to how my family was doing rather than dwelling on any personal concerns about himself.
Men like Dave are truly not that common. They're far and few between. Those he loved and those he touched with a gracious smile and a kind word are all the better for having had him in their lives.
Taken way too soon, such an impact on so many. God Bless Dave, and may we meet again. Go Vikes!

I am so very sorry for your loss. Dave and I were the same class at Serra High School and he is simply a great guy! We played football together and even double dated. My heart and prayers are with you during this very difficult time.

Cousin Dave we will miss you and love you. Expressing sympathy is always difficult. You try to find the right words, but there are no right words. Dave was such an amazing man. He touched so many peoples lives in so many different ways. We will all miss him, but we know our sadness is nowhere close to how much you and the children will miss Dave. Our hearts go out to all of you. Dave and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. We hope all of the wonderful memories you shared with Dave will eventually help you through this sad time.
