I join you in grieving his loss. I was hoping to see Warren at our 50th class reunion this year. Warren and I were friends and in many classes from Webster Jr. High through Stagg. He was an exceptional individual, scholar, and leader. Well loved. May God comfort your hearts.

A magnificent man, in every way. If he was still here, I would let him know his work at Kaiser had inspired so many and the changes we are making in our depression program from his particular contributions, are now helping millions. His legacy stands in these lasting changes for the better for so many people.
He was taken far too soon. My heart goes out to you all. His colleagues miss him as well.

That was a wonderful tribute to an amazing individual yesterday! Nicki and I were moved by the many kind words and memories shared by those attending! Our brother and friend Warren will always be in our hearts and minds.
I would like to share a poem I wrote that helped me cope with the loss of my Dad and others since:

I Am Here (poem for a loved one)

When you feel like crying because you miss me
It means I'm here
When something happens that reminds you of me
It's because it is me
If you hear a song that you know I like
I'm singing it
When you cook my favorite meal or dessert
I'll still be enjoying it.
With friends gathering to celebrate joy,
You'll hear me laughing
If you need words of wisdom or advice
You can still ask
As you sit in the quiet and think of me
I will be thinking of you
If you love me for always
I love you for always
For I am here in everything you see and touch and hear and do.
I Am Here

I am so sad to hear of Warren's passing. He was an exceptional colleague and good friend through our many years working together at Kaiser. Someone who cared greatly for his patients and who also saw the big picture and was able to implement programs that have helped thousands of patients live healthier lives.

I was so saddened to learn of Dr. Taylor's passing. For many years he was my primary physician at Kaiser. He was always so attentive and I have often spoken of how he helped me. He always really listened and was just so kind. My heart goes out to all of you that are mourning his loss. My sincerest condolences.

To my cousin Warren Taylor. My name is Bill Taylor. I am one of your 7 cousins from your Uncle Ned and Aunt Dedi Taylor . While I wasn't fortunate to have known you as well as my sister Margie Hickey did, I must say that I am truly moved to read about your life and wish to extend my love and sympathy to Uncle Warren, Aunt Norma, your family and to the remaining "Taylor Cousins". May the Good Lord bless you always. With love and sympathy. Bill and Marta Taylor, Manassas, VA.

I just wept reading this. What an accomplished, inspirational, loving man my uncle was. I will miss him dearly. My kids will always hold dear in their hearts the man who showed them the world beyond ours, in the stars that evening in Colorado. The great uncle of theirs who loved animals and baseball and came all the way out here so they would really know him. I will never forget all he taught me and how he loved me, challenged me to be my very best and never stopped giving to others and helping them up. I am so sorry he is gone. I will be there for both services and bring my deepest condolences.

My brother, Warren, was my hero, friend and many times a sibling who pointed a baby sister in the right direction. He gave me strength when I needed it, advice when I didn't always want to hear it, but I needed to hear it. His hugs were the best! I was the luckiest to grow up with a brother like Warren! My thoughts and prayers go out Janice, Loralyn, Brendan, Andrew and all other family and friends. We love you! Aunt Jani and Uncle Bob

Cousin "Warrie" - gone too soon. You were my cousin crush as a youngster and someone to admire greatly as we became adults. Always the smart Taylor! Clearly you made a difference in the lives of others and will be sorely missed. All of my love and thoughts for courage and sincere condolences to Janice and family. Jim and I are in AZ at the moment and we are unsure if we will be back in CA in time for the service on Saturday.

Too soon, too soon, too young! I'll always remember how you referred to Warren as "my world with a fence around it".

My heart and prayers are with you.

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Taylor. He was my physician at Kaiser for many years and I was so sad when he said he was leaving Napa. He was a kind, compassionate and caring doctor and had such a wonderful sense of humor that always put you at ease and make you laugh. He will be missed.

I was so very, very sorry to read about the passing of Dr. Taylor in the Napa Register. He was my primary care physician until he transferred to Vallejo. He was the BEST doctor: kind, caring, paid attention to what you had to say, made you very comfortable. And he had the best sense of humor! He will be sorely missed. I will keep the Taylor family in my prayers. God bless.
