Angie Willback

Angie Willback, age 85, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on June 27, 2016.  Angie was born and raised in San Francisco and moved to Napa with her husband, Mel Willback, in 1962. 

Angie was one of three children in a resourceful, hardworking, Italian family – her two brothers having been born in Italy prior to the family immigrating to the United States.

Angie spent more than 50 years as a resident of Napa where she was active in philanthropic organizations benefitting the Valley.  She was always delighted to travel to Italy and spend time with family in Viareggio.  She filled her home with love, laughter, creativity, Italian culture, food and ingenuity.  Angie is survived by her two daughters, Karen Willback and Laura Ellington and her two grandchildren Davis and Evan Ellington.

Private family services were held at TulocayCemetery.
