Welcome to the memorial page for

Parker Adams

February 28, 2015

Parker Thomas Adams of Napa, CA passed away unexpectedly on February 28, 2015. He is the precious son of John and Melinda Adams, and wonderful brother to Colton and Dylan Adams.

He graduated from Vintage High School in 2012, where he participated on the water polo and swim teams. He was currently enrolled at the University of North Dakota (UND), pursuing a degree in aviation management.

Parker achieved his Eagle Scout rank in the Boy Scouts of America through Troop 86 (now disbanded). He completed his Eagle service project at the Veteran’s Home in Yountville, CA. The Vet’s home was a special place to Parker, so much so that he also did his senior service project there.

Ever since Parker was a child, his dream was to someday become a pilot. His Uncle Randy (Parker) Lt. Col. Ret. US Air Force, was an inspiration to him in pursuing this goal. Parker’s dream came true, on the day after his 19th birthday, when he earned his pilot wings through UND. This was by far his most cherished accomplishment.

In Parker’s first year attending UND, he had the honor of being a cadet in the Air Force ROTC Detachment 610. As a cadet, Parker served on the Honor Guard, presenting flags at various sporting events and 911 vigil. Through his commitment and hard work, Parker was also initiated into the Arnold Air Society.

We are so very proud of all that Parker accomplished!

Parker is survived by his loving family: parents John and Melinda Adams, brothers Colton and Dylan Adams, son Jackson Thomas, grandparents Clay and Mary Parker of Napa, CA and Dr. Charles and Edythe Adams of Hollywood, FL. He also leaves behind many adored aunts, uncles and cousins, along with the many friends he made throughout his journey.

A remembrance of Parker’s life will be held on Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1333 Third St., Napa CA. Details regarding a reception will be provided at the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Parker’s name to the Veterans Home in Yountville, or to the Boy Scouts of America.
