Orlie Curtis

Orlie L. Curtis died peacefully and suddenly on May 24, 2016 in Napa, CA. He is survived by his amazing wife of 61 years, Idella and two daughters Elizabeth Rabbitt and Victoria Morgese, MD, as well as his sons-in-law Mike Rabbitt, DDS and Vincent Morgese, MD and grandchildren Elizabeth and Albert Morgese.  Orlie’s life was full including two careers, first as a physicist (Physics PHD University of Tennessee) with an early start at the National Laboratory in the “Secret City” Oakridge, Tn., and second as an attorney (USC Law School) in Stockton, Ca.   He also managed to travel the world, always busy planning their next trip. He grew everything from award winning orchids, to fruits and nuts, always enough to feed an entire neighborhood.  In addition to all of this stimulation he also had a passion for music, listening to, or singing at Stockton SDA Church, with the Stockton Chorale or at home with his player piano. His memorial service is 11 am, August 13, 2016 at Tulocay Funeral Home chapel, 411 Coombsville Rd, Napa, CA. 94559.  Memories can be shared with the family online at www.tulocaycemetery.org
