Joanne Lynnell Martell

Joanne Lynnell Martell, born January 14, 1965 in Napa, Ca passed away surrounded by family on July 29, 2016.

               In December 1982 Joanne birthed her first son Robert James, and had her second son Jonathan Paul in March 1985. Later that year she received her Ged in Fairfield. Joanne was a loving, devoted stay at home mother for many years before working at Inter-Rail Transport in Benicia loading and unloading new cars onto trains. She later worked 19 years for the Jelly Belly Candy Company in various positions where she made many friends.

               Joanne loved her pet cats, gardening, shopping and family barbeques. She had a wonderful heart and always made sure everyone was well taken care of and happy, always putting others before herself. We love her very much and miss her terribly.

               Joanne is survived by her mother Barbara Zemaitis, step-father Martin Zemaitis, son’s Robert and Jonathan and grandchildren, Donovan, J.P., Lianna and Jaxson. She was preceded in death by her father Paul Stephen Sarasin and brother Paul Anthony “Tony” Sarasin.

               Services will be held at Tulocay Cemetery, 411 Coombsville Rd in Napa California, on Monday the eighth of August at 11 in the morning with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Collabria Care Hospice at www.collabriacare.org.
