Edward Allen Bowers

Edward Allen Bowers, 76, passed away on Saturday, May 9 in Napa.  He was born January 25, 1939 in Pamona CA.

He graduated from St. Helena High School in 1956 as Class President. At the age of 14 ventured out on his own living with the Thompson family in St. Helena and making his own way working in both the Napa and Pope Valley areas as well as the Monticello area before the filling of Lake Berryessa on a variety of farms and ranches. He made it all on his own, his own way. Edward lived in St. Helena until 2001. Then moved to Colusa, CA  for it reminded him of Old Time St. Helena. Edward was the owner of Knight Trenching and Underground until Partnering up with the group at Harold Smith and Sons were he remained as a partner until 1995. He enjoyed: Working Hard, Gardening, Hunting and the outdoors, his major love was fishing whether it be on the Russian, Eel, Smith or Chetco Rivers with his friends and family.

Edward is survived by: his son, Warren Bowers, Daughter in Law, DeAnna Earsley Bowers, Granddaughter, Brianna Bowers and Grandson, Brock Bowers all of Napa.  

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 21st at 12:00 noon at  Tulocay Mortuary.
