Carol Ann Stevenson

Carol Ann Stevenson, 67, passed on July 9, 2017 in Martinez,  California. She was born on November 4, 1949 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Carol was born and raised in Pennsylvania but then moved to California in 1970. She proudly served in the U.S. Army  and was stationed at Presidio, San Francisco where she later meet her husband,  Richard Stevenson. They married in 1972.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Stevenson in 2006 and her mother, Doris Schaefer in 2000. She is survived by her father, John (stepmother, Dolores)Schaefer of Pittsburgh, PA;  by her brothers, Jim Schaefer and Joe (Gisele) Schaefer of Round Rock, TX; her children, Melissa Stevenson and Christopher (Rebecca) Stevenson of Vallejo, CA; her nephews, Erick Schaefer of Round Rock, TX, Rob Schaefer  and Greg Schaefer of Pittsburgh, PA; her nieces Kristiana Schaefer of Round Rock, TX and Jackie Schaefer of Pittsburgh, PA.

A Funeral Mass will be held for her at St. Apollinaris Catholic Church, 3700 Lassen Street in Napa on Tuesday, July 18th at 10:30 a.m. Viewing  will take place at Tulocay Chapel , 411 Coombsville Road, Napa on Monday, July 17th starting at 1:00 p.m.  Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. The family will have a private burial at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
