Michael Jackson

Michael (Mike) Jackson passed away Sunday, June 11 after a battle with heart disease. He was born in Vallejo on Dec 20, 1963 and attended Vintage High graduating in 1982. He worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard as a Rigger from 1981 until it's closing in 1996. He moved to Lake County in 2001.

Mike was a car enthusiast. He loved to buy old cars and work on them with his dad. They always had a project going. Mike also developed a penchant for Saturn vehicles after GM stopped production. He started Saturn Rescue, a source for parts and repair, and sale of vehicles.

He was so much fun to be around and always had stories to entertain us all. He will be greatly missed.

Mike is survived by his father, John Jackson, his wife, Jenifer, his daughters Tara (Josh), Mara, his stepchildren Ricky, Jimmy, Spence and Amanda and his three grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Tony (Barbara) and Jeff Scott (Diana). Mike was preceded in death by his mother Judy who passed in 2010.

Private services were held at Tulocay Cemetery.
