William Paul Floyd, 76 of Napa, CA passed away July 4 th , 2024.
Paul, as he liked to be called was born on October 15 th , 1947, to Luke and April Floyd at Parks
Victory Hospital.
After high school, Paul worked for WPA Tire, The Veteran’s Home followed by the Napa Valley
Unified School District where he was a dedicated maintenance worker for 32 years upon his
retirement in 2010.
In the fall of 1991, Paul met his soul mate Minette, 18 years later in 2009 they were finally
married. In their 33 years together, they went on to raise 3 children, Anne from Paul’s previous
marriage and Minette’s children Tiffany and Chris whom he raised as his own.
Paul was the second eldest of eight children and enjoyed spending time with all 7 of his siblings.
He loved to hunt, fish and go camping as well as traveling the world with his wife by his side.
Amongst it all, he was passionate about his 55 Chevy pickup that he restored himself and loved
to show off.
Paul will always be remembered as having a wonderful sense of humor and enormous heart.
He was generous, loyal and brave surviving a lung transplant in 2017. He made an impact on
many lives and will be forever missed and loved.
Paul was predeceased by his parents Luke and April Floyd and siblings Barry, Robert and
Rebecca. He is survived by his wife Minette, children Tiffany (Ernesto), Anne (Michael), Chris
and 5 grandchildren. He is also survived by brothers Mike, David, Patrick, sisters Lenore and
Kathleen along with numerous nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at Tulocay Cemetery on Wednesday August 14 th , 2024, at 11am.
