Susan Regina Sjordal

1938—2018

Susan Regina Sjordal, age 80, passed peacefully in her home on Friday, September 28, 2018.

She was born on September 7, 1938 to Everett and Mossie Nevin. She was raised in Napa and attended St John the Baptist Catholic School, graduated from Santa Catalina School in 1956 and graduated from Dominican University of California in 1960. Susan was a patient and supportive teacher who taught 3rd grade at Tara Hills Elementary for 44 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and grandnieces. She reveled in the adventures she participated in and the adventures of those she loved.

She is survived by two sons Kenneth and Paul Sjordal, two daughters Hilary Gilliam and Katie Sjordal, and six grandchildren.

A Rosary service will be held at Claffey & Rota Funeral Home on Friday October 5, 2018 at 7 PM. A memorial service will be held at Tulocay Cemetery on Monday October 8, 2018 at 11 am.
