Sharon Davis Obituary

Sharon passed away at home while peacefully taking a nap. She had been very ill for the past three months with a failing heart.

Sharon was born in Denver, Colorado. Her family came to Vallejo before she was one year old. When she was ten, the family moved to Napa on Vichy Ave. She attended Vichy School, Napa Jr. High, Redwood Jr. High and Napa High, graduating in June of 1960. At the graduation all night party, she and classmate Jim Davis started dancing together, then began dating. They got married at the 1st Presbyterian Church, by the Reverend Erwin Bollinger, on August 26, 1962. Son Vincent was born in 1964 and Jeffery in 1966.

As a teenager she was a member of Job's Daughters Bethel #185. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Silver Spray Chapter #59 and their Sew and So club for 64 years.
Oh, how she loved the Masonic Organization and all the ladies and men in the organization. She was one of the best organizers and could easily put together a luncheon for a hundred ladies. She was twice Worthy Matron.

She was an original member of The Shooters RV Club and they, in their heyday, would RV about six times a year and made lifelong friends.

She and Jim went on a few cruises, traveled around the country visiting major league
ballparks and went to Giants spring training three times.
Many times, she was on the class of "60" reunion committee and went to every reunion
but one.

She always supported her son's and grandchildren's school activities and sporting events. She went to all their games and school plays and enjoyed every minute of them. She was active with her sons in Cub Scouts and was Den Mother and Committe Chairman.
She also volunteered as a Room Mother and Librarian of McPherson Elementary School
when her sons attended.

Sharon worked at the Napa County Election Department for almost fifty years of which thirteen years were full time.

She loved everyone she knew, and they loved her.

She was predeceased by her parents Howard and Grace (Ranck) Million and loving daughter-in-law Nancy (Brace) Davis.

She is survived by her husband of almost 63 years Jim, son Vincent (Angela), son Jeffery and his two children Violet and Emmett, (her grandchildren were truly the apples of her eyes), Step granddaughter Lauren and her daughter Gwen, her sisters Nancy Thompson (John) and Claudia Bertolucci (Ray). No sisters ever loved each other more than the Million girls. She is also survived by nephews Scott Hart (Tiffany) and Mike Bertolucci (Lisa) and their children, sister-in-law Patricia Munk (Joe) and nephews Roger Munk and Brian Munk (Amanda) and their daughters and many cousins all over the USA. She was closest with Alan, Annette, Frances, and Patty (deceased). Also survived by Vincent's Stepchildren Garrick and Hannah Larson.

Services will be held Saturday June 14th, 12 noon, at the Napa Masonic Family Center, 4125 Solano Ave., Napa. Gathering to follow.
