Sally Flaherty

Sally Flaherty passed away unexpectedly in her home in Napa, California on August 13, 2019.

Sally was born in Vallejo, California and attended San Jose State University obtaining a Bachelor's Degree and later a Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy. In 1957, Sally married Keith Flaherty at St. Peters Chapel on Mare Island. Both Sally and Keith were employed by Kaiser Permanente Hospital where Keith served as a Pharmacist and Sally as an Occupational Therapist.

Keith Flaherty passed away in 1985. Never remarrying, Sally continued to live in the family home until her unexpected death.

Sally is survived by her daughter, Erin Flaherty; Grandsons, Kyle Bishop, Cody Schaal and Keith Flaherty; Granddaughters, Bailey Bishop, Shelby Bishop, Carol Flaherty and Danielle VanAusdale, and two Great-Grandsons, Carson Bishop-Alvarez and Giovanni Masterpaul. Sally is predeceased by her parents, Captain Walter and Carol Sorsensen; her late husband, Keith Flaherty; and her son, Brian.

A Graveside Service is scheduled for August 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at Tulocay Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the Napa Valley College Foundation, in memory of Keith and Sally Flaherty.
