Rita Madison, 84, of Vallejo passed away peacefully in the presence of love on October 25th, 2025.
Rita was raised in a quaint coastal town in Northern California to her father, Henry Simons & mother, Mary Simons.
Rita married her best friend & soul mate, Gary Madison in the fall of eighty three. Together they raised her two sons Kyle & Richard. Rita reveled in motherhood, was a world class excellent wife, & enjoyed watching her family grow into what it is today. Rita was a brilliant wife, mother, friend, sister & grandmother.
Rita held various positions of work & enjoyed helping others & her community at her local Moose Lodge. Rita was an active engaging member alongside her loving husband.
Rita was a walking embodiment of light and love. Her heart of gold spoke first as she entered rooms & her delightful spirit captivated crowds. Rita had a profound ability to make everyone feel welcome, uniquely special & seen. Rita enjoyed gatherings with loved ones where she would gush about those she cared deeply for. Rita was remarkably hilarious & incredibly giving. Rita would want us to know that although it rains sometimes, the sun will shine again.
Rita is preceded in death by her parents Henry & Mary, her son Kyle, and eldest grandson Dustin. Rita is survived by her Husband Gary, son Richard (wife Helen), grandson Jayson (wife Brooke), granddaughter Alysha (partner Charles) & Great Grandchildren Syerry & Dustin Jr.
May our love of Rita be evermore amplified in her crossing as she watches all of us from Heaven.
