Richard Johnson Obituary
It is with deep sadness that the family of Richard Perry Johnson announces his unexpected passing on April 1, 2026.
Born on Christmas Eve 1966, Richie was proud to be a fifth-generation member of two of Napa's pioneer families. He was a 1985 graduate of Napa High School, and spent his career working in the construction trades. Richie will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his endless jokes, and his storytelling. He was an avid Raider & A's fan who loved camping, fishing, boating, music, and attending concerts. He also dearly loved his dogs, Pete, Bruce, and Lucy.
Richie is survived by his father, John Johnson; his sisters, Brenda (Greg) Blackard, Mary Williamson, Amy (Mike) Wisnoskie, and Katie (Scott) Alberda; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, Patricia Johnson.
Richie was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service and gathering will be held at Tulocay Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 1. Richard Perry Johnson
