Phillip Lee Askins

Phillip Lee Askins passed away on April 21, 2025, at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa California, at age 69.

Phillip shared his life with his wife, and life long friend Rebecca Askins.  They raised two children, Andrew Askins and Macie Askins. He  leaves behind his cherished grandson, Calvin Gonzalez.

He is remembered by his mother, Alene Askins; his sister, Peggy Frost; his brother, Ronald Askins; nephew, Daniel Frost; and his nieces, Amanda Frost and Shanna Askins .Phillip is preceded in death by his  father James Askins.

For a decade, Phillip worked at Napa Sanitation. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a deep love for fishing , boats, and blues music. A talented harmonica player, he often joined friends for jam sessions that brought rhythm and warmth to those around him.

Phillip lived a simple and quiet life, grounded by the things he loved most. His presence will be deeply missed
