Paul Holland Obituary

Our Dad Paul, (or Buddy/Bud as he was known to family and close friends) passed away on June 29, 2021 after many years of health issues.

Dad was born and raised in Napa. The baby of the family and the youngest of 5 Holland siblings (Sharon, Charlotte, James, Janet, and Paul) born to Marjorie and Paul Holland Sr.

Paul met the love of his life, Toni, at a New Years Eve Party thrown at Toni's parents house, invited by her younger brother TJ. They were rarely apart from that day on. Bud and Toni were married on April 16th, 1972.

Dad had a long career as a Tile Setter before he and Mom opened H & H Design/Holland Tile in Napa, where they sold and installed flooring for over 15 years before retiring. Mom & Dad spent a lot of time at their second home in Truckee over the years, making frequent visits to Reno. Mom passed in March of 2015 and Dad was never the same. We find peace in knowing they are together again, without pain or illness.

Paul is survived by his three children and their spouses; Brandi Scheimer (Jeff), Samantha Holland, Paul "JR" Holland (Bryna McCulley). His five Grandsons; Chris, Max and Anthony Scheimer, Paul Holland IV, and Lukas Wagner. He is also survived by his brother James Holland (Margo), stepfather Cecil Mitchell, Aunt's Myris Avery and Marlette Weems, numerous nieces and nephews, and his faithful dachshund Lily.

We would like to thank his care team at Kaiser and especially the Kaiser Vallejo ICU Team for their hard work and care.

Family and Friends are invited to a gathering on Saturday, August 7th from 2 – 5 PM at the Veterans Memorial Park in Yountville (6469 Washington St.) to celebrate his life. We will say a few words at 3:30 PM.
