Nick Robert Cervone

Nick Robert Cervone passed away peacefully in his home on August 20, 2021 in Napa, CA at the age of 90.

Nick was born on February 6, 1931 to Antonio and Giuseppina Simone in Formicola, Italy. After losing his parents at a very young age, Nick and his brother Ralph were adopted by their Uncle Lewie and his wife Mae Cervone.

He and his brother Ralph settled in Pittsburgh, PA in 1947 with their new family. He became an American citizen, but never forgot his Italian roots. Eventually they moved to Napa and that's where Nick and Lewie opened Cervone and Son Tailors. He proudly owned and operated that business for 65 years!

He met Martha McCann and they married in 1958. They had two daughters, Rita and Annetta.

He was passionate about his family, opera, music and loved to play the mandolin and guitar.

He is survived by his wife Martha of 63 years, his daughters Rita Cervone and Annetta (Ray) Particelli. Four grandchildren Stefano (Amy), Giuliano (Megan), Dante and Adriana Particelli. Also, two great-grandchildren Dante and Luca. Three nieces and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, adopted parents and his brother Ralph.

A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 AM on Tuesday August 31st at Tulocay Cemetery with a reception to follow.
