Mirna Leticia Wright

Mirna Wright, a wonderfully devoted and loving mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2020 at Queen of the Valley Hospital in Napa.

Mirna is survived by her two children, Ramser and Ileana Wright, and one grandson from Ileana, Diego Wright.

Mirna was born in Sinaloa, Mexico, but grew up in Ensenada, Baja California.  In her youth, Mirna was a very active, adventurous and persevering woman.  Entrepreneurial by nature, she worked on several business endeavors including a second hand-clothes business, beauty shop and surf shop owner.  Always looking to keep busy, she possessed a positive can do spirit and was always willing to put in the work to make her business efforts successful.  She would regularly mention that whatever she did in life was for and inspired by her children and grandson.

She married several times, but in 1992 she married Donald Wright and relocated to Modesto, California.  Her children grew up there where she was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker.  It was in 2004, after her husband's passing that she relocated to southern California to be closer to her hometown of Ensenada.

Mirna, unfortunately had suffered serious health conditions, including a lower back injury that required surgery.  She also had two liver transplants related to autoimmune disease.  These health battles although very difficult, did not destroy her spirit. She continued to be a loving, caring mother and friend always with a smile on her face.  

In recent times, Mirna enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchild, going out for walks in Napa, where she always admired the roses and gardens.  She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and everyone she touched with her kind, gentle and sweet spirit. Her ashes will be scattered at sea as she wished during a private memorial service at a date to be determined.

Mirna Wright, una madre y abuela maravillosamente devota y amorosa, falleció pacíficamente el 10 de mayo de 2020 en el Hospital Queen of the Valley en Napa.

A Mirna le sobreviven sus dos hijos, Ramser e Ileana Wright, y un nieto de Ileana, Diego Wright.

Mirna nació en Sinaloa, México, pero creció en Ensenada, Baja California. En su juventud, Mirna era una mujer muy activa, aventurera y perseverante. Emprendedora por naturaleza, trabajó en varios emprendimientos comerciales, incluido negocio de ropa de segunda mano, salón de belleza y dueña de una tienda de surf. Siempre buscando mantenerse ocupada, poseía un espíritu positivo y siempre estaba dispuesta a trabajar para hacer que sus esfuerzos comerciales fueran exitosos. Regularmente mencionaría que todo lo que hizo en la vida fue para e inspirado por sus hijos y nieto.

Se casó varias veces, pero en 1992 se casó con Donald Wright y se mudó a Modesto, California. Sus hijos crecieron allí donde ella era una esposa devota, madre y ama de casa. Fue en 2004, después de la muerte de su esposo, que se mudó al sur de California para estar más cerca de su ciudad natal, Ensenada.

Mirna, desafortunadamente, había sufrido graves problemas de salud, incluida una lesión en la espalda baja que requirió cirugía. También tuvo dos trasplantes de hígado relacionados con enfermedades autoinmunes. Estas batallas de salud, aunque muy difíciles, no destruyeron su espíritu. Ella continuó siendo una madre y amiga amorosa y cariñosa siempre con una sonrisa en su rostro.

En los últimos tiempos, Mirna disfrutaba cocinar y pasar tiempo con sus hijos y nieto, salir a pasear a Napa, donde siempre admiraba las rosas y los jardines. Sus seres queridos y todos los que tocó la extrañarán mucho por su espíritu amable, gentil y dulce. Sus cenizas se esparcirán en el mar como lo deseó durante un servicio conmemorativo privado en una fecha por determinar.
