Mary Elizabeth McCabe Paul, 98, beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend passed away peacefully April 4, 2018
Mary was born on September 12, 1919, Niagara Falls, New York. Mary grow up in Buffalo New York and Married Ralph Waggoner Paul in October of 1945 .Ralph and Mary moved to Vallejo, Ca. in 1946, where Ralph work in a government job at Mare Island. They remained in Vallejo and raised there six children until Mary moved to Napa Ca. She received a degree in her 50’s in psychology, attending college with her two daughters. She was one of the founders of the “Christian Help Center” in Vallejo which started in her home. Mary was also Board of Directors for the Crises Pregnant women’s home which was founded by her daughter Kathleen and President of “Women of Glow” in Vallejo. Mary loved her family, she enjoyed painting, singing, playing the piano, traveling and had a close relationship with the Lord.
Survived by her Bother Daniel McCabe, sons Ron, Michael , Dennis , Kenny and daughter Sue Ann Paul. Grandchildren Brian Johnpeer, Doug Johnpeer, Dan Nix, Spencer Paul, Ashley Paul, Lisa McDowell, Dennis Paul Jr., Shelly Paul, Kylie Paul, Kenny Paul, Cameron Paul, Keanon Paul, Julia Paul, Christa Gonzales and Garrett Gonzales. 9 Great Grand Children, 5 Great great Children.
Predeceased by her Husband Ralph Waggoner Paul, Daughter Kathleen Nix, Father Daniel Albert McCabe and Mother Elizabeth Mary McClusker. Brothers William McCabe, Richard McCabe, Robert McCabe, Jack McCabe and Sisters Katherine Wangen, Rita McGarry, Betty Long, Joan Aguon, Theresa Halloran, Dorothy Keitsch , Gloria Pepin.
The service will be held 10:30am at the Christian help Center “The Lord’s Fellowship Church” 1055 Azuar Dr (Mare Island) Vallejo, California 94592. Burial will follow after service to “All Souls Catholic Cemetery” 550 Glen Cove Rd, Vallejo, Ca 94591. We will have a gathering back at the “The Lord’s Fellowship Church” after burial.
