Marvin Campainha Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Marvin, who was born on June 29, 1957, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and passed away peacefully alongside his family and close friends on November 25, 2024.

Raised in Napa, Marvin attended Irene Snow School and was a proud graduate of the Napa High School Class of 1976.

A true jack of all trades, Marvin was a talented and hardworking man who enjoyed working on cars throughout his life. Whether tinkering under the hood or mastering a new skill, he brought dedication and creativity to everything he did. He also had a lifelong love for motorcycles, finding freedom and joy on the open road. He enjoyed shooting pool with friends, working in his garden, and creating beautiful creative outdoor spaces.

Our brother had a special gift for connecting with people, always finding just the right nickname for everyone he knew. He was the kind of person who was always there to lend a helping hand, making the lives of those around him brighter and easier. His humor, warmth, and knack for making others feel special will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He shared his home and heart throughout the years with his cherished pets—Meanest, Petey, Dolly, Rocky and Bad Ass the cat—who brought him endless companionship and laughter.

Marvin was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Theresa Campainha, and his sister Gale, whom he loved and missed very much. He is survived by his loving sister Margo (Albert); brothers Dale and Darren (Dorothy); brother in-law Michael Gomez and countless nieces and nephews who will forever cherish his memory.

A service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at 11 a.m. on January 3 at Tulocay Cemetery, followed by a graveside service and reception.

We will forever treasure the memories of the kindest, most adventurous, and talented man who left an indelible mark on all our lives. Ride free, dear brother. You will always forever be in our hearts.
