“Marty the Barber”
Martin Cosmo Cardone, affectionately known as “Marty the Barber,” passed away peacefully at the age of 82, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Born in San Francisco to Dominic and Theresa Cardone, Marty was a lifelong barber who built lasting friendships through his shops in San Francisco and later in Napa. A proud member of the Italian American Social Club, he brought joy and laughter to every gathering.
Marty loved traveling with his beloved wife, Marilyn; playing bocce ball; entertaining friends and family; and telling stories—often becoming the heart of any room he entered. He especially cherished time spent with his grandchildren, whether cheering them on from the sidelines or simply enjoying their company. Always by his side was his loyal dog, Cinnamon, who brought him great comfort and companionship.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Marilyn; his children, Marty and Terri Franco (Paul); five grandchildren—Katie (Fletcher), Quentin, Abby, Brenna (Chance), and Emily; two great-grandsons, Walker and Nathan; and his faithful dog, Cinnamon.
His legacy lives on through the love he gave and the stories he shared.
Please join us in celebrating his extraordinary life:
