Obituary

Martha Jane Haverstick (Duckett) was born June 22, 1940. She was raised by her mother (Etta Olmos *predeceased) and father (George William Duckett *predeceased) in Hot Springs Arkansa with her 3 siblings (Shelby, Marvin *predeceased and Linda *predeceased) In 1959 Martha met and married her husband Daryl Haverstick. Together they had two children Cindy and David (Debbie). She was a grandmother to seven (Josh, Chrissy, Brandon *predeceased, Shelbi, Kelsie, Anya and Max) and a great grandmother to eight (Ayden, Rylie, Maddison, Olivia, Mackenzie, Levi, Naomi and Brandyn.) 

 

She was a business women, an entrepreneur and wore many hats throughout her life; from picking cotton at an early age to helping as yard duty for her children’s school to decorating cakes, to owning her bookkeeping business. She was very involved in all seven of her grandchildren’s lives. 

She traveled the World. As an avid cruiser Martha and Daryl have seen so many places together creating countless memories. 

 

On Wednesday August 24th 2022 Martha passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and family at Sutter Hospital in Vallejo.

 

Martha will forever be loved and truly missed by many.
