Martha Alice French

Martha Alice French was born on July 21, 1943 to George and Jewell Tucker at Parks Victory Hospital in Napa, California. After graduating from Napa High in 1961, Martha went on to attend college at San Jose State to earn her RN degree. After finishing college Martha married her high school sweetheart, Robert French and went to work for her family physician, Dr Barber until the birth of her first child. Martha returned to nursing in October 1979 at St Helena Hospital where she remained until her retirement in July 2006.

Martha was predeceased by her parents George & Jewel Tucker. Martha is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert (Bob); her children: Michelle Deckman and William (Bill) French; her grandchildren: Tabitha (Zack) Tidwell, Louis Deckman III, Leah Deckman; her great grandchildren: Klayton Bethel, Brooklyn Bethel, Paige Tidwell, Riley Tidwell, Daniel Tidwell and Logan Tidwell. She is also survived by her sister: Barbara Dowd and two nieces: Debi (Scott) Emery and Teri Dowd.
