Martha Mae Cervone, a native Napan passed away peacefully at her home on October 5th, 2022, in Napa.
Martha was born at Parks Victory Hospital on September 9th, 1936, to George and Lucille McCann. Her education started in a one room School House on Soda Canyon Road and ended with her graduation from Napa High in 1954.
For nine years, the Soda Canyon 4-H Club held a place of special importance in Martha's life and culminated when she became the Napa County 4-H All Star in 1954 – a moment of great pride and joy.
The great love of her life had one name: Nick Cervone whom she married at the old St. John the Baptist Church and with whom she had two daughters Rita and Annetta. Martha was a dedicated homemaker, devoted to her family, with a love of books and crossword puzzles in her spare time. Martha led a quiet, yet meaningful life with a certain twinkle in her eyes.
Martha is survived by her daughters: Rita Cervone and Annetta (Ray) Particelli; four grandchildren: Stefano (Amy), Giuliano (Megan), Dante, and Adriana Particelli; and three great-grandchildren: Dante, Luca, and Marco. She is predeceased by her parents George and Lucille; and Nick, her beloved husband of 63 years.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 26th, 2022, at Tulocay Cemetery, Napa, CA with a reception to follow.
The family would like to thank Collabria Hospice Care and especially Shirlee, Mere, and Litia for their dedicated care of Martha.
