Marsha Hartley

On May 24th, 2022 Marsha Hartley got her wings and went to walk with the Angels. She was 82 years old.

Marsha was a lifelong Napa resident, born July 15, 1938 in Vallejo, CA to Mark and Lorraine Andrews. Marsha graduated from Napa High in 1955 and attended San Jose State. She then moved to San Francisco where she met her first husband Howard, and together they raised three wonderful children: Joseph Mark, Bruce Andrew, and David Gilbert. Although the family moved to Sacramento and Portland, they soon returned to Napa and she never left.

Marsha then married her childhood ranch crush Gilbert Hartley in 1986, extending her family to include Gil's son Christopher, his wife and family, and daughter Leslie.

Marsha was always proud of the beauty of Northern California and loved to camp and hike in the Redwoods with Gil and the Argyle Street Gang for many happy years until The Lord took Gil in 2004.

Marsha's greatest love was her family and she always had a warm smile and a friendly word for everyone. She spent her time hiking, reading with a book club, discussing world affairs at Peet's, and helping the occasional unfortunate soul.

Marsha was preceded in death by her parents Mark and Lorraine Andrews and husband Gilbert Hartley. She is survived by her brother Thomas Andrews and wife Jeanne; 4 Sons Chris and Shelley Hartley, Joseph and Theresa Momsen, Bruce Momsen, David Momsen; Daughter Leslie and her husband Michele Manzone; 5 grandsons, Garrett Momsen, Connor Momsen, James Hartley, David Dopp, Christopher Dopp; 3 granddaughters, Christina Hartley, Casandra Robinson, Izabella Momsen; eight great grandchildren; Hannah, Aubrey, Tayt, Lily, Seth, Tanner, Eli, Wyatt, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will be a private Interment on June 7th followed by an open celebration of Marsha's life for all to attend from 1pm to 5pm at 3676 Argyle St.
