Marilyn Rambo

Marilyn Rambo, age 79, passed away at her home on March 12, 2021. Marilyn was born in San Francisco, California on October 4, 1941, to Louis and Carmen Garcia (both deceased). Marilyn lived in San Francisco, California and moved to Napa, California when she was young, where she remained the rest of her life. She attended Napa High School graduating in 1959. Marilyn married James "Ken" Rambo in November 1966. Together they raised three children Michael, Allen and Jeffery Rambo.

Marilyn spent many weekends traveling to Pop Warner football games with Ken to watch their sons play. Although raising three sons kept her busy, she still made time for herself, she enjoyed her weekly bowling leagues and playing bingo with friends. As their sons got older Marilyn and Ken joined a square dance club and started spending their weekends square dancing with friends. Marilyn enjoyed going to the casino and especially loved it when one of her grandchildren went with her. Most of all her favorite thing was spending time with her grandchildren.

Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Ken Rambo, their sons Michael and Allen Rambo, her brother Jim Garcia and sister Francine Holland. She is survived by her son Jeffery, and his wife Jeanena Rambo. Along with six grandchildren: Courtney Becerra, Nicole, Tim, Matt, Andrew, and Alison Rambo. Her brother Tim Garcia. And numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Marilyn will be greatly missed by all the life's she touched, and she will always live on in their hearts.

A Memorial service will be held on April 16, 2021 at Tulocay Cemetery Funeral Home at 2 P.M. Located at 411 Coombsville Rd, Napa, CA 94558. All are welcome to remember Marilyn the service will be held outside under the carport next to the chapel.
