Margaret (Marge) Lalich (Haslam) was born December 13, 1943, in Martinez, California and passed on October 9, 2024, in Napa, California. She is survived by her sister Mary, Brothers William, Randy, and Pat, Sons, Robert and Michael, as well as family members Haley and Christina, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Joseph Lalich and his daughter Jennfier, as well as her parents John and Margaret Van Petten.
Marge graduated from Napa Valley Community College, California State University East Bay, California State University, Sacramento, and Chapman University with multiple degrees. She retired from Napa State Hospital as a speech pathologist and teacher after 35 years.
She was an active member of Cornerstone Fellowship, Calvary Chapel (Napa); American and California Speech-Language and Hearing Associations, Association for Applied Therapeutic Humor, and the World Laughter Tour.
Marge was a believer who demonstrated love, compassion, and was a light to all who met her. She was passionately positive about life supporting and encouraging everyone’s God-given potential. She loved to laugh and sought to share her faith and joy with all. She was inseparably devoted to her best friend (husband), Joe and in faith has been reunited with him.
She is loved and missed by her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel at Tulocay Cemetery on November 13, at 11:00 am, with grave side and reception to follow.
