Margaret Jane Breshears

Margaret Jane Breshears (Maggi) passed into her Maker's loving embrace in the early hours of January 27, 2023. Comforted and cared for by her loving family, she remained strong and strong-willed to the very end of her journey here.

Margaret had a long and full life. From her beginnings, she was bright and fun and talented in a myriad of ways. As a little girl wide-eyed, and kind and adventurous, with a brother before and a brother behind, she grew in both her athletic abilities and her artistic gifts which she carried into her life as a wife and mother. She raised four boys who in many ways inherited much of her giftings and personality. As a mother of those four young boys she encouraged and assisted them in their gifts and talents while keeping them clean, warm, fed, and busy. She was an outstanding mother and housekeeper and even then still able to pursue her individual talents and interests as well.

With her children grown, Margaret returned to Napa where she happily remained the rest of her 88 years. Her presence, sense of humor, and kind acts, will be greatly missed by her family and friends, She will remain in our memories and touch our hearts as they come before us attended by a laugh, or smile, or tender tear.

Margaret is laid to rest at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa close to her husband, Jim, the father of her four boys.
