Manuel Jamias Jr. Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Manuel F. Jamias Jr., known
to many as Nonoy, Jun, Manny, or Mr. J. He was born on February 6, 1945, in
Manila, Philippines, and he peacefully passed away in his sleep the morning of August
12, 2024, in Vallejo, CA.

Manuel was a loving father to his bereaved children Ali (Allan), James (Annie), Rinna
(Fitz), and Love (Menwinn), and grandfather to his granddaughters Layla and
Alyanna. He is also survived by his brother Net, and sisters Josie and Ting. He was
preceded in death by his parents Manuel Sr. and Carmen, as well by his brother Didi
and sister Mila.

He was a man of great integrity, with a kind and compassionate heart that touched the
lives of all who knew him. His generous spirit and caring nature were evident
in everything he did.

He graduated from the University of Santo Tomas and pursued his Master’s Degree in
Accounting at De La Salle University. He was dedicated to his work throughout his
life until his retirement in 2007.

In 1986, Manuel made the courageous decision to move to the United States in
pursuit of a better life for himself and his family. This move marked a significant
moment in his life, as he embraced a new culture and made lasting memories with
loved ones in his new home.

Manuel was a talented musician and enjoyed singing and playing different musical
instruments he can get his hands on in his spare time. He beamed with pride hearing
both his granddaughters take after his love for singing. His love for music brought joy
to those around him and served as a source of comfort during difficult times.

A ceremony to honor and celebrate Manuel's life will be held on August 30, 2024,
from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Tulocay Cemetery Funeral Home & Crematory in
Napa, CA. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and generosity will live on in the hearts
of all who knew him.

Manuel touched the lives of many with his gentle spirit and compassionate heart, leaving a lasting impact on
all who had the privilege of knowing him. His memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate
enough to have him in their lives.
