Lola M Larson

Lola Mary Larson died on Nov. 10 in Everett, Washington. She was born on March 6, 1933, in Kerman, California to Albert Peterson and Florence Ruby Fuller. She was a loving wife and mother, who spent a career as a medical transcriber at the Napa State Hospital.
Lola moved to Vallejo to live with her step dad Larry Reese and mother Florence. She attended high school in Vallejo where she developed a fondness for poetry. After high school she attended Solano Community College.
Lola met her first husband, Oliver Bastien, at Solano Community College. They raised two sons, Oliver Jr. and Stan. Oliver Sr. preceded Lola in death in 1991.
It was at a church dance that Lola met the second love of her life, Glade Larson. The two hit it off on the dance floor and were inseparable from that day until Glade's death in 2020. Glade brought his five grown children into the marriage: Maria, Marla, Marvin, Matthew and Monica.
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was a large part of Lola's life. She was a member of several volunteer groups through the church and was a big part of the Mormon community in Napa.
A huge sports fan, Lola rooted hard for the Giants, Warriors and 49ers. She and Glade both supported the BYU Cougars and watched most of their games.
Lola is survived by her son, Oliver Bastien; stepchildren Maria Larson, Marla Sua and Monica Larson; stepbrother Gary Reese; 19 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
