Linda Dell Rossi

Linda Dell Rossi, 77, of Crockett, CA, passed away on May 13, 2026 at her home. She courageously fought a years-long battle with Parkinson’s Disease.

Linda was born on February 7, 1949 to Arla and Ruth Thompson in Washington, PA. She and her family spent many years in Marietta, OH, before relocating to Arcadia, CA in 1964.

Linda graduated from Arcadia High School in 1967, she went on to study Business Administration at Pasadena City College.

After graduating with an Associates of Arts Degree in Business Administration, Linda started her first job with a CPA organization as an Accounting Associate. In a short time she switched her focus to Information Technology (Referred to as “Data Processing” at the time.). This move kickstarted a life-long career at Long’s Drug Stores’ corporate headquarters in Walnut Creek, CA where she finished her career as Director of IT Training.

In 1975 Linda met David at Long’s Drugs headquarters where they both worked. Linda and David married in 1977, which was the beginning of their magical 48 year relationship.

In 2012 Linda retired and spent much more of her time with her grandchildren, as well as activities such as water skiing, golf and tennis, which she greatly enjoyed.

Linda was predeceased by her mother and father. She is survived by her sister Pamela Welch of Texas, her grandchildren Isabella and Giovanni Rossi and her husband David.

Services will be held at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa, CA on May 28, 2026, at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, Hospice of the East Bay, or a favorite charity.
