Laura Young

Laura Young of Napa, CA passed away on June 18, 2020 in Valley Springs, CA after a long battle with cancer.

Private family graveside services will be held Thursday, June 25 at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa. 

Laura was born to Norma & Collie Copus on September 21, 1957 in Seaside, CA. As a child she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing tennis. She was married in 2008 to Bill Young of Napa. Laura owned Gigi’s Cupcakes Napa until 2009 when she closed to care for her husband. 

Laura enjoyed traveling and spending time with her five grandchildren and her dogs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Collie Copus; her sister, Deborah Box, her brother, Randy Copus; and her husband, Bill Young.  She is survived by her brothers, Brian & Collie Copus; her two daughters, Amanda Irby of Savoy, IL and Carissa Talmadge of Vallejo, CA; and her five grandchildren, Zoe, Mason, Mackenzie, Madison and Abagail.
