Keith Biddenback Obituary

Keith C Biddenback, age 71, joined the Lord surrounded by his wife, children, and grandchildren on December 31, 2025.

Keith was born on August 8, 1954, in Solano County, California, and was raised in Napa, where he attended Napa High School. During his high school years, he proudly participated in the Napa High Band, playing the trumpet—an early reflection of his lifelong appreciation for music.

Keith lived a life marked by service, dedication, and adventure. Early in his career, he served as an EMT in Sonoma County and later proudly served his country in the United States Navy. A fishing trip to San Antonio, Texas, changed the course of his life when he met the love of his life, María del Rosario C. Marroquín. Married on March 18, 1978, at the Little Flower Church of La Villita in San Antonio, Texas, together they built a life in Texas, raising two children and sharing over 47 years of marriage.

While in Texas, Keith worked as a security officer at SeaWorld thru Texas Detective and Security and later with the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy Sheriff. Eventually, the family
returned to Napa, California, where Keith began a long and distinguished career as a Correctional Officer at San Quentin State Prison, serving for over 20 years before retiring. Keith had many passions. He loved fishing, barbequing, making his famous spaghetti sauce, and enjoying Jelly Belly candies and gummy bears. He was a fan of Frank Sinatra’s music and cheered for the San Francisco Giants. Above all else, Keith treasured time spent with his family, grandchildren, and friends—moments that brought him his greatest joy.

Keith is survived by his beloved wife of over 47 years, María del Rosario C. Biddenback; his daughter Reneé Marie Coffin and son Keith Neil Biddenback; son-in-law Joseph Alonzo Coffin and Coffin grandchildren Isabelle Marie, Alonzo Robert, and Michael Keith. He is also survived by sister-in-law Teresa Biddenback; nephews Karl, John, and Jonathan Biddenback; nieces Sarah Hallock and Abigail Martin; numerous grand nephews and nieces, family and friends in San Antonio, Texas, as well as his law enforcement family, colleagues, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Raymond L and Evelyn C Biddenback, his brother Lawrence A Biddenback, his sister and brother-law, Linda Rae and Andreas Lotz.
