With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Karmin Kristine Campbell, who departed from us on June 2, 2025, at 56. Karmin was a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, wife, friend and latex allergy crusader, whose warmth, wisdom, courage, and generosity touched the lives of all who knew her.
Born on October 21, 1968, in Moscow Idaho, Karmin led a life filled with love, resilience, and purpose, A pioneer in the Latex Allergy movement, Karmin was known for her non-profit Latex Free World, and videos she stared in for the foundation, and on U-Tube. www.youtube.com/@KarminCampbell-LatexFree-du4vu. Her beauty, courage, energy and dedication will be deeply remembered and honored.
Survived by her husband Thomas Gunsalus, parents Richard and Sharon Campbell, sister Jacquelyn and brother-in-law Bill Chambers, and beloved nephew Randall Rhodes, Karmin leaves behind a legacy of compassion, love of learning, and spiritual exploration which will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Karmin loved our Brown Valley semi yearly block party which she organized and brought to life. In celebration of her life, we invite all who knew and loved Karmin to join us on Saturday, 28, from 1 pm at her parents' home at 1038 Vassar Dr., Napa. Tweedd7474@aol.com.
Karmin loved a party. Wear your comfy glad rags and bring your happy or drama-filled stories and pictures of you and Karmin. We will be serving casual, block party-type food. If you feel moved to bring a dish or bag of chips and bring your own beverage, feel free. Our doors are open to family, friends, neighbors, and all those who loved her.
Though deeply mourned, Karmin will be celebrated and remembered every day through the many lives she touched. Her light lives on in the hearts of all who loved her.
