Judith Aileen (McPherson) Kennard
August 5, 1941 - October 5, 2024
Judy was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Margaret and Randall McPherson.
She was raised and attended school in Vallejo, California, where she met and married her high school sweetheart William “Bill” Kennard. Coming to Napa as a young adult with small children she built and established from the ground up the Pueblo Vista school library, worked as a lunch monitor and room mother. Judy worked for McDonalds as a breakfast manager for many years and later Napa Valley Bank. Judy enjoyed her peaceful country home, a close group of friends, many trips and travels, and card games with wine and laughter.
Judy was predeceased by her parents and grandson Zachary Gates.
She will be missed deeply by her husband of 65 years William Kennard.
Daughters, Leslie Gates (Fred) and Lisa Kennard. Grandchildren, Tiffany Kenny (Eric), Anson D’Agostino, Britton D’Agostino (Melissa), Mark Casassa (Lisa), Matthew Brady, and Robbie Brady. Great grandchildren, Keaton D’Agostino, Ella Kenny, Morgen Casassa, Grayson Casassa and Grey Ramsden.
At Judy’s request there will be no funeral services, she will be laid to rest next to her mother at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa.
