Janet Campbell

Janet Jane (Bell) Campbell, age 81, of Napa, CA, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025 after a three-month battle with cancer.

Janet was born on March 2, 1944 to Ted and Jane Bell in Napa, CA. She attended Alta Heights, Mt. George, Ridgeview, Silverado, and graduated from Napa High School in 1962. After graduating high school she worked at Montgomery Wards and then the phone company.

Just after graduation, Janet met Russell Campbell. They married in 1964 and went on to have two children, Jim and Stacy.

As a homemaker for the next 15+ years, Janet enjoyed teaching aerobics, gardening, volunteering in her kids' classrooms, chaperoning on many field trips, attending sporting events, and taking thousands of photos, which have been enjoyed by many through the years. She was also blessed with four beautiful grandchildren, whom she enjoyed every moment with.

Janet enjoyed traveling from an early age, but later in life got the cruise bug and enjoyed expanding her travels far and beyond with family and a special group of "cruise ladies".

She was predeceased by her parents, Ted and Jane Bell, along with many aunts/uncles, and cousins. Janet is survived by her brother Jimmie (Linda) Bell, her son Jim (Denise) Campbell, her daughter Stacy (Josh) Eichner, four grandchildren (Izabella, Jayge, Theodore and Thomas), many nieces/nephews and cousins.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Napa Valley Food Closet or Community Projects, both are local organizations that Janet felt strongly about.
