Ivonne Maricela Aragon, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was 72 years old.
Ivonne was born on April 16, 1953, and was married to the love of her life, Denis Aragon, for over 48 years. Together, they built a beautiful life centered on faith, love, and family. She was a proud and loving mother of Denis Jr. and Leslie, and a devoted grandmother to Nicholas and Ethan, whose lives she enriched with her wisdom, warmth, and unwavering support.
Ivonne is also survived by her three sisters, Maribel (Ernesto), Janet (Michael), Elizabeth (James), with whom she shared a lifelong bond, as well as many nieces, nephews, and long life friends. Her family was the center of her world, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them. Known for her deep faith, gentle strength, and endless compassion, Ivonne touched many lives with her kindness and guidance.
Ivonne was a woman of many talents. She had a successful banking career, where her customers absolutely loved her. She went on to own three thriving businesses in Napa and was well known for making delicious caramel apples, scrumptious cookies, and savory hot dogs. She retired in 2017 to enjoy time with her family and to travel. After a brief retirement, Ivonne returned to work part-time in the hospitality industry, where she was deeply admired and loved by her peers.
She had a deep love for traveling to Hawaii and embraced the Hawaiian lifestyle, which reflected her values of family, warmth, and togetherness. The islands brought her peace and joy, and their spirit of aloha was something she carried in her heart.
Ivonne will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Tulocay Cemetery, located at 411 Coombsville Road, Napa, CA 94559
