Gregory “Greg” Reyes passed away peacefully at home on December 10th, 2020 in Napa Ca at the age of 61.

Greg was born on February 20th, 1959 in St. Helena Ca to Alex & Georgia Reyes. Greg was a lifelong student of Napa Valley Support Services NVSS and a pilar within the community as one of the first students of programs and school services that served the Developmentally Disabled of Napa.

Greg was an accomplished Artist and often worked closely with Celia his aid painting and showcasing his work at NVSS. He enjoyed watching Westerns and was able to remember actors by their full names. Greg never forgot a face and almost always greeted you by your name with an added you are cute or handsome along with a firm handshake or gentle kiss. In his forties Greg was confirmed by Father Castro at St. Johns Catholic church in his hometown of Napa. This was a very special moment for Greg’s mother Georgia.

Greg is survived by his Father Alex Reyes of Napa, Brother Salvador Reyes of Bakersfield and his loving Sister and Caregiver his “Gwenda,” as well as Glenda’s children Greg’s Nieces Jessica Dominguez, Alexandria Garcia and Nephew William Garcia 111 “Bubba” often Greg would introduce them as his grandchildren. Greg has many Aunts and Uncles and cousins that will greatly miss him. Greg had many grand nieces and nephews that loved him unconditionally. Greg loved all his family dearly but proclaimed Reyna as his heart and would brighten up whenever she walked in the room. Greg also shared a kindred spirit with Lil Ramon. Greg is preceded in death by his loving Mother Georgia Reyes who was at heavens gates with open arms to welcome our Greggy home.

Services are private and scheduled for December 21, 2020. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Easter Seals NVSS or IHSS. The family would like to thank Collabria Hospice of Napa, Jean & Chanelle Thank you for the compassion and care Greg received.
