Geraldine Aguirre

Geri passed away peacefully on May 27, 2022 with family by her side in her Napa home.

She was pre-deceased by her dear husband Harold Aguirre. Geri and Hal shared six children, and she will be deeply missed by Jennie Thayer (Steve), James Greenwell (Brooke), Jay Greenwell (Robin), Christine Gaddini, Mark Aguirre (Sondra), and Jon Aguirre (Colette). She was a wonderful mom to all six of us. She also is survived by her sister Judith McElroy.

Geri was a devoted grandma to 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, as well as nieces and grandnieces. She had a special bond with her granddaughter Megan Byle, who was by her side during her last few months.

She was a stylish lady who traveled extensively with Hal, had a great sense of humor that many of us have inherited, and played a mean game of cards.

We are grateful to the amazing team of caregivers from Anchor Health and Stayman Estates who showed such care and compassion to our mom and our family.
